Virtual AI Patient Simulator
Project Overview
This project investigates the use of an AI-enabled virtual reality (VR) simulation to support communication skill development among health profession students. Health Profession Students engage in a VR simulation with a virtual embodied conversational patient to practice the realistic and dynamic clinical case. We aim to explore the perceived usefulness, realism, and educational value of the VR+AI system in preparing students for real-world patient interactions.
